全国のTOHOシネマズで幕間に上映されている脱力系ショートアニメを長編化した劇場版。紙兎のロペと紙リスのアキラ先輩が、夏休み最後の日（ラスイチ）に巻き起こす騒動をシュールに描き、アキラ先輩の姉役で「AKB48」の篠田麻里子が声優を務める。夏休み最後の日まで自由研究に手をつけずにいたアキラ先輩とロペは、アキラ先輩の姉のピアスを壊してしまう。ピアスの代わりにしようと美しいイヤリングを拾うが、それが美術館から盗まれた「クレオパトラの涙」だったことから、2人は強盗団に追われることになってしまう。Feature film adaptation of the animated short films that are presented as supporting films at TOHO Cinemas throughout Japan. Set in downtown Tokyo, Ropé, a paper bunny, and upper class paper squirrel Akira play out a slacker-style drama with relaxed conversation. Akira and Ropé get extremely busy as they try to savour the final day of summer vacation. Akira has to deal with the problems of his yet-to-be-started summer research project and fixing his big sister's earrings. On top of all that, he gets tangled up in a robbery.
