讲述了在位于金泽的料理老店中长大的三姐妹，长女宫泽紫（米姆拉）嫁到东京做着专职主妇，二女儿岸本蓝（比嘉爱未）在富山做教师，小女儿岸本茜（佐佐木希）则作为料理店的女将勤奋工作着。某一日，祖母去世的消息让三姐妹回到了金泽，同时她们也被告知：早以为死去的母亲其实还活着。The three sisters live in different cities, namely Tokyo, Kanazawa and Toyama. As is often the case a death in the family brings them together. While attending their grandmother's funeral they come to find out more about their mother. As more is revealed the sisters seek to remain strong and face their reality.
